Windsor Cottages, a place with spectacular views of the serene lush green valleys of the Garhwal range that glow wondrously with sunrise beams.
The place to deeply relax and catch a rejuvenating breath in the lap of majestic Himalayan range at 1700 mtrs above sea level. A place which resides in the lap of nature in the countryside of Jaiharikhal with the touch of purity in the entire ambiance.
The entire place is guarded by the humongous oak trees and the breeze which touches the Himalayas flows in the valley. The birds chirping, mountainous landscapes and the aroma of the soil awaits your arrival.

It is a popular vantage point amongst the tourists visiting Lansdowne. It is on the ridge close to St. Mary’s Church. One can plan a trek on the bright sunny day to enjoy the glorious and majestic views of the Himalayas, which is unforgettably enchanting.

Regimental Museum

This museum Houses the rare collection of stories, achievements and photographs of Indian Army’s Garhwal Rifles.

Regimental War Memorial

Established in 1923 by, Lord Rawlinson of Trent (then, Commander in Chief, India), this War Memorial was founded to mark the heroism of Garhwal Regiment. This memorial indicts pre-independence history of Garhwal Regiment.

Bhairav Garh

One of the fourteen reincarnation of Lord Shiva is Kaal Bhairav. Bhairav-Garhi is the famous abode of Kaal Bhairav . It is situated on the hills of Raajkheel village (17 km from Lansdowne). The deity Kaal Naath Bhairav is regularly worshipped here.

Bhulla Tal

Bhulla means “younger brother” in Garhwali and is dedicated to the young Garhwali youth of the Garhwal Rifles who contributed their services, day and night in its construction without any Government funds. The boating facilities are also available and the areas around the lakes formed by the dams have been beautified. A children park, bamboo machan and fountains have been erected as part of entertainment and beatification of pristine surroundings.

St. Mary's Church

Built in 1896 by Colone AHB Hume of Royal Engineers, St. Mary’s Church is one of the most architecturally rich buildings in Lansdowne.

Chinbo waterfall

The waterfall is 22 km away from Windsor Cottages towards Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple. It’s a natural waterfall with beautiful & peaceful surroundings. No food shops and No changing rooms are available at this location. You can enjoy the waterfall best during the summertime. You will love the place for its natural and undisturbed beauty. Keep your environment clean, Do not litter.

Tarkeshwar Mahadev

Tarkeshwar Mahadev is a village 36 km from Lansdowne and at a height of 1,800 m. The place is known for its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by thick forests of cedar and pine, it is an ideal place for those who seek for beauty in nature. During Shivratri, a special worship is held

We have cottages which are best for a small family. The unique thing about these cottages is that their roofs are made with bamboo which is a delight to cherish. All the cottages got the seating spaces in front of the room.
